Venues

NOMAD (Thursday night)

NOMAD has been our Thursday evening pre-party venue for years. It’s located at 58 Old Street and comes with two floors with excellent sound systems and great wooden floors. We look forward to seeing you there on the Thursday evening for our welcome party.

Limehouse Town Hall (Friday and Saturday night)

Over the past 136 years The Grade II listed Limehouse Town Hall has been at the centre of a remarkable range of events and this year you will have the opportunity to dance in this beautiful London vintage icon. It offers us a gorgeous large space with beautiful wooden floors for us to dance the night away.

The venue is within easy reach of Limehouse DLR station, and is within a short walk from both Mile End as well as Canary Wharf tube stations, both of which will provide you with a way of getting home at any time of the night.

Hoxton Basement (Sunday night)

We’ll be closing off the weekend in last year’s Hoxton Basement venue, where we’ll have a steam punk fancy dress theme this year!

Steampunk is reimagining the future through the eyes of Victorian science fiction writers like HG Wells or Jules Verne. With a backdrop of either Victorian England or the Wild West, modern technologies are re-imagined and realised as elaborate works of art, fashion, furniture and mechanics. Think Wild Wild West, Bioshock, certain episodes of Warehouse 13 or the godawful League of Extraordinary Gentlemen adaptation…

Think cogs, top hats, clockwork, brass, and corsets, teacup holsters, rich colours and fabrics, goggles and steam powered everything! There isn’t A right way of doing steampunk, so let your imagination soar and have fun with it! 😉

Hoxton Basement is located at 12-18 Hoxton St, London N1 6NG.

St. Luke’s Community Centre (classes)

We’ll be going back to the beautiful St. Luke’s Community Centre for all our classes in 2017. This amazing venue has four dance studios with wood-sprung floors, an outdoor area, a coffee shop and other hang out areas to help you get the most out of your classes.

St. Luke’s is ideally located at 90 Central Street (London EC1V 8AJ), within easy reach of Angel, Old Street and Farringdon tube and rail stations.
